The music of Me.

The idea is simple. Simply list the 5 songs that, together, describe or reflect “you”.
Choosing a mere 5 songs that achieve this is much more tricky.

Have a go yourself and you’ll see what I mean. This isn’t about your favourite songs, or songs that have emotional significance based on childhood memories or whatever – although there could well be an overlap with these – it’s about a selection of songs that sum you up. There could even be a song in there that you don’t like.

Fun but challenging!

Anyway, these are mine (I think!):

First choice is a somewhat generic “woman” song. It really describes us all:
Bitch by Meredith Brooks – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKMg41zuoCw

Another slightly generic one as we are all unique. I also have tendencies towards cheesy pop, so this is a good choice:
The One and Only by Chesney Hawkes – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_r0oQE5jEU

I like to think of myself as someone who will support people, and hopefully help them get through their turbulent moments. This song reflects that:
Bridge Over Trouble Water by Simon & Garfunkel – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYKJuDxYr3I&feature=PlayList&p=20E843DC9BE576CB&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=29

I see this more as something someone else might feel towards me, not necessarily in a sexual context, but I’m very safe and middle of the road about most things which may not always be what other people want or need from me:
Want You Bad by The Offspring – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_BwleerO8w

This one works both ways, i.e. what I want from that special someone, and what I would hope to give them too:
Undisclosed Desires by Muse – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8OOWcsFj0U

Have fun creating your own lists! šŸ™‚
